Class is back in session, kids. Today's lesson: Hating on celebrities.
Now, we all do it. There are just too many assholes out there who are famous and really shouldn't be for us not to. But there has to be some legit reasons for it, otherwise you just look silly.
What do I mean?
Well for instance, I hate Miley Cyrus. Why? She's obnoxious, isn't a very talented singer or actor etc.
I hate the Kardashians. Why? They don't fucking do anything of merit and yet, they're everywhere.
I hate Sean Penn. Why? He's an asshole.
I hate Gwyneth Paltrow. Why? She's completely out of touch with the norm and yet claims to be completely in touch.
These are pretty legit reasons to hate a celebrity. Even irrational hate is legit because you understand that it's irrational. Sometimes people just rub you the wrong way.
What's not legit? Solely believing rumors.
This is Hollywood, kids. People make shit up all the time.
Now, if you already dislike someone and you hear a negative rumor, it's human nature to think it's probably true, but stating it as a fact and throwing it out there whenever said person is brought up? Just silly.
Let's just practice some common sense. It goes in all matters of life that you can't believe everything you hear.
Cause otherwise? Well, you get a little paranoid.
