Wow...
It's been since October since I posted anything! Whoops! Some pretty exciting stuff has been happening lately!
First: I had another interview at the San Diego Zoo. Out of 362 applicants, only FIVE were called for interviews! So no matter what, that's pretty damn cool that I was one of the five. And now I'm just waiting to hear back. My interview was last Tuesday, and I think it went REALLY well. Plus they showed me where I would be working...that's a good sign, right? I guess I can know anytime between now and April 1st. I'm not waiting so very patiently...but I'm waiting! :oP
Second: Steve helped me buy a 32" tv! It's used, and a tube TV, but it's a HUGE upgrade from what I had before! And I bought myself an Xbox 360 to go with it. So now I can stream netflix instantly to my nice new tv! I spent more money than I should have, but these two things make me immeasurably happy. Might me shallow consumerism, but it's still true. Plus I got the new Final Fantasy 13 game for Xbox...so I've been having fun with that! Plus Steve and I can play games together online, or chat online if we want...so if I DO get the job...we can still kinda be together in a way.
I canNOT even explain to you how much I want this job! One...it's at SDZ! That would be a CAREER move. I could very easily spend the rest of my life there! 2...SOOOOOO much more money than I make now, and that's just STARTING pay! 3. I would be closer to some of my friends. 4. TOTAL new life experience, since I've never lived in a big city...and I am SO ready for a new life experience! 5. It's working with hoofstock, which I LOVE! I really think it would be a GREAT job for me...and I'd be a lot happier than I am now. So everyone cross your fingers for me! Anyways...back to FFXIII!!
