That Ryutaro really pissed me off!! He still can say that after something like this happened??? And what are they thinking they are doing?? Dinner together at night!! Geez…
Yamada walked down the stairs, suddenly a voice called him, stopped him from walking.
“Yama-chan!!” It was Rei who called him. He really wants to call her back, but something stopped his mouth from called her name. So he just fell silent.
“What’s wrong? I am sorry if I did something wrong… But tell me what it is!!”
“Why are you going out at night, just two of us?” he couldn’t hold it anymore. He really wants to know.
“What do you mean? Do you mean that rumor? I was at café, alone. Suddenly Morimoto-kun came and we dinner together. Just that!!”
“Do you think I will believe it?”
“For God’s sake, I am lying?? For what? Beside, what are you angry about?”
“What am I angry about? I am angry that went out with just two of you, at night!! And the most important, you didn’t tell me anything…”
She raised her eyebrow “Ha? Why you should angry? You are not my boyfriend…”
He leaned closer to her “If the answer is ‘because I love you’?”
She fell silent. She tried thinking that she was dreaming, or else he was joking. But his expression was serious. He looked straight at her for a few seconds. After that he turned, walked down the stairs, leaving her with her brain that still can’t work properly. She was too shocked. This is too sudden…
Morning has come. But she didn’t want to wake up. She couldn’t sleep, thinking about Yamada’s confession.
When she woke up, she felt her head ached. I don’t want to school… I think I will just call someone, tell them I will absent today…
She reached her phone, suddenly someone knocked her door. She clicked her tongue. Then she walked to the door lazily.
“Ohayo, Rei-chan… What’s wrong?” asked Yuto with questioned face when he realized that she still wearing her pajamas.
“Ohayo mo… Yuto-kun, can you tell my teacher that I will absent today?”
He just nodded slowly “I understand… Are you sick?”
“Kind of”
“I see… I will tell your teacher… Rest well, okay?” Yuto smiled warmly then he slowly dissapeared from her sight. She slammed the door and went back to the dreamland.
Yamada walked at the corridor, his bag hanged at his shoulder. He looks gloomy.
I shouldn’t say that yesterday… She won’t like it for sure… I will go to her house after school…
“Ah, Yama-chan~~” Chinen approached him from behind, whined cutely. He just replied it with smile.
“What’s up Yama-chan? Looks like you have black aura around you…”
Yamada chuckled “Nothing. Let’s go to class right now…”
It was lunch time and they were meeting at rooftop like usual. But Yamada realized that something was missing.
“Ne, Aya, where is Rei?” Yamada patted Aya’s shoulder, and everyone looked at him with curiousty
“Don’t you know? Rei is absent today” Aya replied him
“She looks unwell when I went to her room today” Yuto munched his food; with Suzuka on his side did the same thing.
Suddenly he felt guilty. He was afraid that he was the one caused her to sick.
He stood infront of her room. He still confused that he should enter it or not. He felt that this is his fault, but at same time his mind refused to say sorry. Suddenly, the door opened and revealed Rei.
“What are you doing here?” Rei asked him; because he stood infront her but didn’t knock the door at all
“I just… want to see you…” Ha? What the…
“So, why you didn’t knock the door? Come on”
Yamada obeyed her and entered the room. He sits on the usual couch and she sit at the other couch. Sometimes she felt nervous when she remembered his confession.
“So, can you tell me why you just stand infront my room and didn’t knock the door at all?”
“I just thinking… that I should enter or not…”
“Nah, now you are here. Do you have something to say?”
Silent a while…
“Yama-chan?”
“Just… forget it…”
“Forget? What should I forget?”
“Something that I said yesterday… Just forget it, will you?”
“Why…? You have confessed it and you said FORGET IT?” she stood up from her sit
“I just don’t want to be a burden to you, Rei…”
“Burden? Why do you think like that?”
“Because you don’t like me, of course” he sighed
“You even not asking about my feeling, how can you something like that??” tears started to flowed down to her cheeks. Yamada realized that stood up, leaned closer to her.
“Sorry… I didn’t mean to make you cry… I just afraid to know your answer, so…”
He was cut by her lips pressed to him. A light one. Then she pulled herself away.
“Let me tell you, I love you too. You are just too stupid for not realizing that… I never lied to you about that Ryutaro’s rumor, you know? Baka…”
He craved a smile, then pulled her into his embrace. “Thank you… You make me know what the real meaning of love, and I can swear, you will be the last that can make me feel like this…Rei…”
-------------7 years later---------------------
“this place still looks like 7 years ago”
Rei stood infront that cottage. Yeah, the cottage that containes a lot of memories. She entered the building. She sit at one of the beds. She closed her eyes. Memories keep playing at her mind. The first time they meet, when chinen got an incident, the time when they went here for a holiday, when she met other jump members, when he argued with him, when he confessed to her and when she replied it with a ‘yes’.
The door was knocked and opened. Yamada stood there, his eyes wandering around. He smiled and approched her.
“This place is memorable, huh?”
She nodded and smiled too
“Okay, stop daydreaming now, Or we will be late for Chinen and Umika’s wedding” Yuto interrupted them. He was standing at the door and Suzuka at his side.
“Look who’s talking… You are the one that will be late for your wedding… Get married fast and don’t be such a jealous” Yamada answered him with mocking tone. Yuto blushed and so Suzuka. Yamada laughed and pulled her girlfriend to stand up, then whispered at her ears “Don’t worry,I will make the most memorable one for you” then he kissed her cheek lightly.
This story end faster than I expect...LOL
