For this time of the year, it's the worst snowstorm since 1993.  Now the freezing rain is starting.  I don't think the birds will be using this birdbath for a few days.

Thanks. We got new windows put in the front of the house, along with a new door, on Monday. This started on Thursday and I swear they've already paid for themselves. Triple pane insulated glass is so much better than single pane windows from the 1960's.

LOL - You need a heated bird bath, that would melt that snow. Well... at least the snow that's in the bird bath. We have one and we get birds from everywhere using it along with squirrels and rabbits. It only ices up a little at night, of course we're working on our 35th night of below zero (Fahrenheit) temperatures.

Brrr, it's bad enough here. About a 1/2 inch of freezing rain on top of all that snow. School is canceled again, so that made it a four day weekend for the kids.

My work "week" is Friday through Monday, so I've lost a week of pay which I'm not happy about. The great bonus I got last week makes up the difference instead of being a chunk of fun money. Oh, well.
