Rushing around trying to get everything done before I leave for work. So glad you have a sense of humor about it! I baked an apple pie for Thanksgiving, and since it was leaving my house, I used a disposable pan instead of a real pie tin. I usually double the pan when I do this, but I only had one tin left. The freaking thing folded in half while I was taking it out of the oven, spilling all over the inside of the oven door and the bottom of my oven. It took a while for me to find it funny, and that was only because my nephews (4 of them, all teens) took the ruined pie off of my table along with the leftover whipped cream from my pumpkin pie telling me that the giant hole in the crust and the missing filling just made it easier to eat out of the pan, then proceeding to grab forks and devour what remained of the pie like they hadn't ever eaten anything so good before in their lives.

It has been a very long, very bad week. It's 7:00 on Friday and I can't remember the last time I was so grateful for a weekend!

Happy birthday to your grandaughter and I hope you have a good day (night?) at work.

Thanks for the stories this week. They are a large part of why I am ready to leave work with my sanity bruised instead of broken. And your reply yesterday meant so much. I really appreciate you!
