Pulling together 2/?

Not a spoiler, but an inside joke if you've seen "You'd Better Watch Out."

Twenty minutes later the team was in Vance's office while Ducky and Vance listened to the whole story. As Gibbs had suggested, they were both immediately supportive, even if they were surprised. Ducky, of course, had questions.

"Don't think all your furniture is gonna fit in the back of my truck, Elflord"
Haha! Thanks for using this nickname and making me laugh so hard! :o)

one kiss sandwich from Ziva and Abby
And this. SO cute.

This story really makes me smile a lot, despite the, well, let's say unpleasant background. But the love and warmth weighs much more right now than the past and, maybe, future problems. At least for me; fandom love is much needed now. Thanks for giving it :o)

Yep, it's all about the love and building a family. I know what you mean about fandom love - I'm so tired of "fans" that have to absolutely destroy all of the other characters other than their favorite.

Oh yes! I mean, a little "destruction" in fic, when needed for a solid plot for example--that's a different thing. But I get the feeling there is way too much wank and flaming out there, and that simply sucks. I'm not used to that. My main fandom is teeny-tiny, and we are all loving family over there.

Well. Much blahblah. I should rather keep reading =)

Agreed. My other fandom is small and very close so it's a bit of a shock at times to see how nasty it can get. If I see one more "Tim and Ziva go to jail for how mean they were to Tony in Dead Air" fic...

Heck, I even got slammed for not having Warming the Heart all about Tony. How dare I even bother listing him as a character if I hurt McGee in the story? Sigh.

I really don't get the concept of these "going to jail for being mean" fics. And, quite frankly, if someone is mean, then it tends to be Tony, even though, yes, he isn't REALLY. Just my opinion.

How can you get slammed for writing a fic about who you want and the way you want it? I will never understand that. Jesus, if people disagree, then why should they bother to even read to begin with? It's one thing to have preferences, and we all have them, but why waste energy on strongly disagreeing? That's just so beyond me. *shakes head*

Yeah, there's a whole subset of Tony fans that I'll never understand. They see an entirely different show than the rest of us do, that's for sure.

Not only some of the Tony fans, though, I'm afraid.
