Yep, double ick. Dental surgery on Wednesday, hopefully I'll start to feel better after that. Thanks.

Thoughtful!Tony is great.
When Jenny asked if McGee could feel the maggots, I could hardly resist the urge to google for it. Gro-o-o-ss. I'll leave it up to you to answer that question (or not) in the next part ^.^

Yeah, I love to see Thoughtful!Tony. Too bad we don't see it very often. We'll see how many of those details make it into the story and how many I leave to your imagination.

I am glad Tony finally caught on to what Tim needed from him. I can't believe Abby would use Tim's pain for art that is extremely thoughtless. Loving Papa!Gibbs he is doing such a good job of taking care of Tim.

Tony's finally gotten a clue. Safe in her lab and surrounded by only images and test results instead of the reality of the pain and suffering that the rest of them see, Abby has a real disconnect with reality at times. The fact that she has "art" up on her walls that's actually close up pictures of blood and brain tissue is very telling. Perhaps if she left her safe lab and actually saw Tim's pain and discomfort?

That may help, but she not only hides in her lab but she also tends to hide behind a "little girl" demeanor, which drives me just a little bit crazy.

I forgot to say earlier but great chapter!

I had been wondering since the treatment if the patient would be able to feel them moving around and it makes me squirm to imagine. I am so loving this story. It's rare to find a Gibbs/McGee father/son relationship fic that is this touching.

Thanks, some details will be in later chapters, some I'll leave to your imagination. I love writing this dynamic.
