Vanity
For nyxmidnight
130 words
PG-12 for language and yaoi
AUish, in which DMC1's Vergil gets a happier ending.

Mirrors. He should have laughed at that. Vergil had furnished their bedroom in wall to wall mirrors. "You know, in most cultures that's bad for your soul, or at least a sign of vanity," Dante told the man whose shoulders currently carried the brunt of his weight due to the demon-hunter's discourteous leaning.

"Vanity we have. This is a reminder."

"Of what?"

"Of when I first saw you again." Vergil smiled and turned, leaning into Dante in a manner reminiscent of that first time. "You knew it wasn't your doppelganger kissing you even before I changed, didn't you?"

"Maybe I just liked kissing myself," Dante teased, watching his own reactions in the mirror as Vergil licked his neck.

"Then lets see how you fuck yourself," Vergil suggested.

Dante only grinned.

PG-12 for language, nudity, and blatantly suggested yaoi

Aziraphale wasn't sure what he ought to make of Crowley's mood when the topless demon answered the door, but he could almost have called it perky. It didn't seem fitting given that the flat was a mess, take-out trays and empty cans scattered across the floor while the sofa looked like it might eat anything that sat on it.

"Hello angel," Crowley greeted his visitor. "Anything important?"

"No, but-"

"Oh, good. Don't take this the wrong way then, but please fuck off."

Aziraphale was bout to reply with righteous anger when a very, very pale and very, very naked abstract opened the door to Crowley's bedroom, revealing a bed thoroughly coated in oil. "Hello angel," it greeted. "Care to join us?"

Aziraphale turned an interesting pink. "I think I'll see you later my dear," he stammered at Crowley, ignoring Pollution's parting comment of "Don't bet on it!" as he left.

To Burn
For _sparklegirl
155 words
PG for age-gap kissing
Also, apologies for giving Remus catholic guilt on top of everything else he's already bloody suffering.

He was going to burn in hell for this one.

He'd been damned there anyway for so many things, if the bible was right. For Sirius. For being a werewolf. For his secrets.

But this was the killer, the one that lit the flames.

She was beautiful, he knew others saw that, just as he saw it in Ron's face when the boy cast certain glances her way. He'd been the same with Sirius.

But for God's sake, she was a child too, and he should not have let her kiss him no matter how much he wanted to kiss her back. He kept still, fought the need to close his eyes and reply to her lips, waited for her to pull back. He knew she would understand, would see through any lie he told. "We can't," he said at length, and waited for her to leave before licking his lips.

She tasted like hope.
