Well, I cannot say I had a productive day, although I did register another page of Springkink claims, had a bath, and remembered to turn the washing machine back on afterwards, so I suppose I was borderlining on useful.

HOWEVER, today with my early wake-up I managed to earn both my stereotypical female and my bargain hunter cred in one go. I now have gorgeous new boots; originally £40, £5 in the sale. YEAH.

Also yesterday some dude was totally flirting with me over the phone after I'd fixed his problem (which was amusing all things considered he'd been raging when he first came through on the line), querying where my accent was from, surprised I'd not had elocution lessons, and saying "Bits of the Liverpool accent do come through here and there, it's very attractive". Good gracious sir, it's enough to give one a fit of the vapours!

Oh, and I have a new perfume, again, from L'Occitane, and again I cannot praise the women who work that shop enough because 1) it's a perfume shop that doesn't reek of perfume, 2) they're attentive without hovering or pestering, and 3) because they actually understand that when you don't want a floral scent you DON'T WANT A FLORAL SCENT, and thus in addition to my honey and lemon perfume I've now got an amber perfume for winter. It's so warming, I adore it.

BTW: I would do a long squeeing post but at this point it's a teeny bit redundant, so allow me to sum up my thoughts on 5x04 in one non-spoilery sentence:

HOLY FANFICCERS CHRISTMAS MORNING, BATMAN, I HAVE TOYS TO PLAY WITH FOR MONTHS NOW.

Also, Jared Padalecki, get inside me now. And I've noticed something - it was bugging me that our traditionally ridiculously gorgeous Jared looks a bit weird when he frowns these days, and then my sister remembered that he had that accident where he glassed his head on the Friday the 13th set; we reckon he's got a little bit of a scar that becomes more visible when he frowns, and is overly distracting on account of the fact the rest of his skin is so perfect. This makes me feel guilty for looking, but also means I can now continue enjoying the pretty without being distracted.
