Adil didn't really know what to do with this.
Harley had been a light sleeper when around the Embryon, still seeming terrified of them despite the fact they had clearly spared him from whatever fate had befallen his Tribe, but Adil had woken to find Harley's arms tight around his waist and refusing to budge.
He didn't even know the guy, not really. It was meant to be just sex.
Unfortunately, Adil wasn't very good at "just sex", and it didn't help matters that Harley had an openness to him that just pulled in all the world around him. Adil couldn't stand up to that. He was only human.

Also, heeheehee!!! Mating season! Soooo Does Todd have a mating ritual - which I'm hoping involves lots of growling and baring of teeth or does he just sling John over his shoulder? John having to aim in order to rest his head on a dry spot is also giggle inducing.

I have plans to actually fic this at some point now XD. The more I considered it while planning out your snippet, the more fun I had trying to work out how they'd get together and the mechanics of it all :D. I think once they're more comfortable with each other it's more "RIGHT. YOU. SEX. NOW." *grabs-and-slings*
But eeeeeeeeeeeee, I'm beyond happy that you enjoyed it <3, I couldn't resist trying to make you happy <3. AND TODD, OMG, TODD IS SUCH A ROMANTIC IN AN ATYPICAL WAY THAT IT'S JUST, OH. He really is. He ADORES John. And wants to kill him half the time. And ADORES him. Pretty much the second I finished watching Common Ground I thought "Oh, oh yes", and then they brought Todd BACK for more episodes, and they never killed him off, and THEN there was the whole thing with Christopher Heyerdahl saying that he thinks Todd's in love with John and I was all "OKAY IF THE ACTOR PLAYING TODD ( ... )

Yay! Huzzah for ficcage! I'm so glad you've been seduced by the wraith side of the force. You wouldn't believe the horrible lack of wraith fic in SGA. What there is of it is ether non con or badly written Steve/John stuff. You have made my life more complete!

YES! For me this is the ESSCENCE of fanfiction. Taking two characters that don't really go together and making it plausible that they would. That's why I gravitate to the odd pairings I think, rather than the... obvious slash couples. It's the process of getting them together that I enjoy writing and reading about. Not the togetherness itself.

Yeah, that's pretty much what got me into looking for Wraith slash. I remember being all excited at having found the Wraith Bait archive only to be depressed by how little wraith fic was actually archived there. It's a bit better now but still not as much as there should be damn it!

Todd's actor is totally awesome. I remember reading an article where he complained about being called Todd. He was all... Todd's name should be Ace! That's a good name for a sexy wraith isn't it? I call him Ace in my head. Not Todd. :)
