Okay, so, what makes a pair of underpants awesome?
SUPPORT. Followed closely behind by comfort.
I am a big girly, I cannot get away with flimsy scraps of lace and any attempts to do so would surely result in disaster. So I like my underpants to be supportive. Not quite granny-pants unglamorous, but certainly something that'll haul in my significant tummy and prevent that oh-so-glam over-the-top-of-jeans muffin top.
Now, this is not to say I don't like my thighs or my bum. In fact, I think they're great - probably because they have to lug my weight around all day - so support thongs work fine (even if they're a bad idea in summer when it's hot and uncomfortable).
But by and large, I like the slighty-more-glam end of the supportive underwear scale.
Now, as to bras? I love the lot of them, but my favourites fall into two categories; the ones that are virtually cel-shaded, just plain black or white and a solid colour, shape and texture, no decoration - and the over the top, lacy and/or frilly and/or embroidered just damn pretty bras. I love my boobs and I love being good to them, and I think that plain-shape-and-texture ones are gorgeously comfy and look great under clothes, while the OTT ones show off my best assets, and I love them.
Also, I love socks, stockings, and pretty much any footwear I can get my hold on.
But I hate tights.
The End :D
