I don't know the bulk of the fandoms that you wrote this set for, but I really liked the two ficlets for fandoms I am familiar with (Good Omens and DMC).
I don't know if I've ever gushed to you about this before, but I think you write Good Omens amazingly well-- I love your character portrayals, and even minute details like your phrasing or word choices suit the source material perfectly. I especially liked this bit:
"Mm. I know I'll miss your bullshit."
"Er." Aziraphale hesitated and decided against patting Crowley on the shoulder. "Thank you."
-- Aw, those two can't *help* but be absurdly endearing. (Plus, their mechanics-of-showing-affection conversation gave me dirty thoughts about Crowley grooming Aziraphale's wings. ^^;)
Also, your Dante-voice is fantastically characterized-- smart-alecky and funny, but also heart wrenching.
Hmm, come to think of it, I've read a Poppy Z. Brite book before. Maybe it was Exquisite Corpse... I'm not all that sure. I just remember a great deal of necrophilia, ass-rape, and possibly cannibalism? Huh. Perhaps I'll check out Lost Souls.
To be honest, I'm not all that interested in HP any longer either. I like bits and pieces of the fandom, but the direction of the last book just pissed me off. *sigh* I pretty much wish that the final book would just be about Sirius, Lily, and James running about as zombies, with perhaps some girlsmut featuring ambiguously-gay!Ginny/just-plain-ambiguous!Luna. I don't actually care about the main plot or the trio, and fanfiction has ruined my mind.
Which brings me to my next point: how can anyone resist the utter greatness of wings?! Especially when those wings are involved in fetish-fic! :D
Lost Souls only has one rape incident in it I can recall. The rest of the time everyone's all WHEE SEX. Personally, I just flicked through it to all the Ghost bits, because he's the most adorable, adorable thing ever. But yes, with the necrophilia and assrape and cannibalism, looks like you picked up Exquisite Corpse. *pats* (I ditched that one after reading it, but still have Drawing Blood because it's got a stupidly romantic ending, Lost Souls for GHOST YAY, and Self Made Man for GHOST AGAIN YAY and for the King of the Cats story
