I hate it when people become bored with their lives and all of the sudden want to make themselves available to you again, for a short time, until they stop feeling bored. For example, saying you all should hang out, ask for your number, your address, etc.
My dad is picking me up to go to irvine to visit my aunt and cousin for a few days. Then he's driving me to vegas to spend a few days with my mom. I fully plan on spending some good time on my laptop/in a book but I'm sure I'll get enough fam exposure as well. It'll be a fun excuse to dress up to go to the concerts and all. and although i am not a huge fan of the circus from hell, OR the holiday from hell, it'll be a good excuse for some shopping as well.
