So, I saw Paramore on the Honda Civic Tour Wednesday the 28th and wow. Just a mindnumbingly spectacular show and venue.
Let's start off with Relient K, who joined the tour for a few nights only replacing Tegan and Sara (it was kind of a bummer, since I actively searched out their music thanks to recs from
october_tempest and
slomotagteam to prepare for the show), but Relient K was great. I love them.

This is the video I took of Sahara off their latest album Forget and Not Slow Down. Matt looks all angry and passionate for most of it, since it's one of their darker songs.
New Found Glory was up next and I love them. They're a band I've heard for years and they definetly weren't disappointing. Jordan's got a lot of energy. He didn't stop moving throughout their set and, of course, they were the only band that really inspired some moshing to go down. There were about 5 guys, all rather wasted at that point, shoving each other and head banging. Everyone kind of backed away from them. Of course, by then I'd already been stepped on and had my drink spilled, but I kind of expected the moshing, so whatever.

Here's a video of Failure's Not Flattering. It was one of their more energic songs.
And, finally Paramore, the headliners of the Honda Civic Tour.
Can I just say Hayley is utterly adorable? Seriously she's got so much energy, dancing through every song and just keeping the crowd entertained.
It makes me so happy that I sprung for the GA Pit/standing area tickets and borrowed my parents camara. The Comcast Center standing area pit is actually pretty small, so even though my friend and I were standing towards the back of that area where it was less crowded, it still meant we were no more than 30 feet from the stage. Plus, my parents camara, sometimes it gets blurry from the lighting and movement, but most of the time with my distance from the stage the video and sound quality is pretty awesome.
They opened up with Ignorance and Hayley, like I said, is adorable. At one point she stands on what must be a speaker the front of the stage and starts fist pumping, it's so cute. Especially, since later in the show she has the audience start pumping their fists before a song and she keeps telling people to put their hands back up, poking fun at the fact that she's just a little girl and their were guys with their hands down.

Also, at one point you can see the sign on the back of her skirt, which says 'Let's Be Freaks'...
Let the Flames Begin is one of my favorite songs off Riot and it's also one of my favorite live sets. Towards the end there's an instrumental part where the whole band just rocks out.

Hayley actually puts the mike down, so she can just go crazy. Jeremy's practically jumping off part of the stage and Josh, who usually doesn't move much is doing some serious head banging while playing guitar.
Then during their performance of Pressure, Hayley starts introducing the band one by one... it was pretty fucking charming.

Then, there's The Only Exception. Just when they start Josh is all 'my guitar's out of tune.' Him and Hayley talking about is ridiculously cute and then once the start playing, a few seconds in Hayley tells security to remove a guy that was fighting, because there was no place for that during a love song. Towards the end there are sparks shot off in the background, it looked really awesome.

Their finale song was, of course, Misery Business. I actually got closer for that song, so you can actually see her eys perfectly in some parts of it. Towards the end a bunch of orange, yellow, and red confetti got shot into the air, kind of matched her hair actually.

So, yeah, if you get a chance to see Paramore live, GO. They DO NOT DISAPPOINT.
