You know what the great thing is about complex, involved plots? When you're reading them and they gradually unfurl piece by piece until you finally have the whole picture and the entire story just sparkles with new context. I love reading stories like that.

You know what sucks ass about writing complex, involved plots? If you outline it two years before you write it, you're probably going to forget things. Things like who knows what when. Things like how you were planning on parceling out the information. Things like, "Why is Dru in this scene again? Did I accidentally make her irrelevant? Where's Wesley? Shouldn't he be here now? Fuck."

I'm giving myself today to figure out what the hell is going on and finish chapter nine of LCEGM. Thank you for being patient with my idiocy.
