Ah! Poor Xander! I really felt for him when he felt all ugly and was relieved when Spike comforted him.

And LOL at them shooting firecrackers during the wait for the baby in the lobby.

“Send the Behemoth.”

Oh dear! This sounds quite ominous! What are Henri and Manon up to I wonder?

I really liked the image of Ethan and Tony shooting fireworks off the roof of the hospital.

And what are Henry and Manon up to? ;-)

Just wanted to say I've been there since the beginning with The Resolute Urgency of Now and have loved everything you've written!!

And I thought you really handled Xander's feelings very well. While I haven't had children my sister (and her husband) lived at home during the pregnancy/birth of my niece and she would talk to our mom about how she was feeling about it and your Xander reminds me of what I remember about that time.

I can't wait to find out what they name their son!

I also can't wait to find out what is going on with Henri and Manon. .... I'm rather hoping the Behemoth is some sort of baby gift.

Which... now I'm wondering what Dru would send as a gift for her childe's first child (She can be Grandmummy now!).

Thank you very much! I tried very hard to strike a balance between what he would be experiencing as a man in his position and what would be universal to the experience of having a child. I'm very glad to hear you feel I pulled it off!

I don't want to spoil too much of what's to come so I'll just say that the Behemoth is not cuddly. ;-)

And I hadn't thought to have Dru send a gift, so thanks for the reminder!
