1,000 Posts!

Mar 15, 2009 10:51

So this is my 1,000th post.

I can't believe I was able to stick with something long enough to have 1,000 posts. That's crazy.

Just so you know I'm very very tired right now. I fell asleep around 6:45 and woke up 20 minutes ago. I need a caffeine drip into my brain. I've been working all weekend and I need to work more all day today.

I'm so utterly spent. There are 2 weeks left in the quarter and I'm done. Just done.

Anyway, 1,000 posts has seen me a long long way from where I started. When I started this I was a lonely teenager with really no idea where I was going in life and now I know what I want and I know that I have to work my ass off to get it. When I first started this journal I was an entirely different person than I am now.

1,000 posts ago I didn't really have any clue what was going to happen with my life, only a vague dream of doing something. Now I'm 3 months from graduation at a college I like in a field I LOVE.

1,000 posts is amazing to me. 1,000 posts ago was a little over four years ago. So What did I do in four years? What did I do in 1,000 posts?
