Hmm
So I've been thinking a lot lately about sexuality and gender. I've always had an interest in gender roles and what not. I find the way we act according to sex very interesting. Anyway, I think this whole area of thought is more of an 'I'm still thinking on it' thing.
Moving on...
I got a freaking 4.0 GPA this past quarter. Not 3, not 4, but FIVE FREAKING A'S! Like my school doesn't have A+'s, so the highest you can get is an A. I got FIVE. I was through the fucking roof yesterday. I'm gonna be on the president's list. It's so crazy, especially with the craptastic quarter I had. I remember looking at the president's list like a year ago and thinking that you had to like sell your soul to get there. But I did it! Holy Fuck!
In other news, Amber departed on Saturday about three hours before my Mom arrived. I like broke down and was sobbing because I know that this is like the end of our friendship to some degree. I don't wanna think about it too much right now...
Mom and I are gonna go see The Dark Knight in a little while. I'm kinda excited. :)
In fandom related news I'm kind of floating between fandoms. I've moved past SGA and am waiting for Supernatural to kick back in. I watched all of season four of House yesterday and so that messed with my fic reading abilities a little bit. I dunno, I tried to read some SPN, but I just couldn't get on board with it. I think maybe I need to rewatch some episodes to get back in the mood. *shrug* I'm gonna re-watch the season opener before Thursday hopefully. Meh.
I'm currently in Columbus, I'm heading back to PA on Saturday or Sunday, where I'll be home alone for a week, not sure when the new roommate is moving in, but it's too soon no matter what. It will be nice to have some time alone.
Anyway, I gotta go get ready to go, but just an update.
