Merrylands HS for prac
Found out I am going to Merrylands High School for 2 weeks Teaching prac starting 17th July. I had no idea about the school, so emailed a girl in my degree who went there for counselling prac, and she wrote back with an array of comforting comments, like telling me of the high truancy rate and that "there are a few chair throwers" at the school. Great. I rang the suprervising teacher today, and he didn't know anything about me, as the school's fax machine had broken down a week ago.
