(no subject)
Just when I thought there wouldn't be any winter this year it got cold and started snowing. Now we've got about 10 cm of powdery snow blowing around. Windy and cold as hell, but at least it's bright and pretty! :-)
I got some good critique when we were discussing our texts the other day, but I still keep getting stuck in my novelwriting. I think I might've planned to little, or that I'm to locked by what I've decided. When I write I feel that nothing flows, but those who read it said the opposite; that it's too smooth and easy to read. Oh, the angst.
I read Celia Rees' Pirates! a while ago, and I really want some Nancy/Minerva. The book is a plotty and vivid YA novel, two girls living as pirates in the 1720's. There's lots of femslashy undertones between those two, but the ending left me very unsatisfied, as they both give up piracy and settle down to get married. I just want to see them together properly!
Now I'm off to do acrobatics!
