And no baby yet. la sigh...ah well, I guess he/she will either be delivered by a *strange* doctor or has no intention of coming before Dr. L gets back on Monday. Although I haven't had anymore false labor since Tuesday, so I'm fine with that.
Biz & Family are coming up this weekend and might stay with us for a night. If baby doesn't appear soon, I think the company/distraction will be wonderful! I've been trying to keep busy this week somewhat. Tuesday after my appointment I had tea/early lunch with Mireille and then Wednesday I had a wooooonnnnderful pregnancy massage with Kelly, massage-therapist-extraordinaire (thanks Jenn&Dee!!). July they also had a deal on where you got a body "treatment" with every one hour massage - so I had me a citrus mint or something like that salt glow treatment...*drool*. Anyway, after that Bernice came over for tea and a chat. Yesterday Amy and little Luke and Christine and her baby girl Aline came over for lunch. A little playdate of sorts I guess (and you missed out baby, hear that?! hurry up and come out and join the fun! LOL) which was fun. Luke is growing up soooo much and is such a cutie! And Aline is such a tiny sweet little baby...I can't even fathom sometimes that my baby will be even smaller than that!
Neal's taken half a flex day off this afternoon, so I'm going to go over and pick him up soon. Wonder what we should do?
In other news: this morning I finished reading my first book read for pleasure in an embarassingly long time...much longer than any self-respecting librarian would ever admit to! It was delicious to lay in bed before sleep reading, and then waking up and reading again before showering...and then whenever else I wanted. I know this is a luxury that will soon be replaced by either feeding baby or sleeping!! And for the past few years, all my reading has been either side of the spectrum - either academic texts and journal articles for school/thesis work, etc... or, in order to get a *brain break*, trashy e-news magazines or online news articles that require little committment. Yay!! I love reading!! still!! (I was scared all the other kinds of reading might have ruined my "fun reading" muscle...or attrophied it at the very least!)
