Chapter 19

"It's his." Sam answered the backpack question after a quick glance. He stood on high alert, gun steady in his hand and eyes constantly roaming the area.

Great, Sam. Loosing conciousness is not the mature way to show your brother that you feel better

LOL, that reminds me of an exchange from a Hogan's Heroes ep where one of the Americans has faked a faint just before the commandant shows up:

Klink: Why isn't this man at attention?
Hogan: I believe he's fainted, sir.
Klink: That's very unmilitary.
Hogan: I'll speak sharply to him when he comes to!

Really enjoying this story, emebalia! Even with poor Sam so badly beat up and poor Luis so far out of his depth, it's a pleasant way to start my Saturdays. :)

Hogan's Heroes - that takes me back, I wish my kids could see it - they'd get the "I know nothing" line a lot better...

Loving this story and wonder how Luis is going to deal with Sam, Dean and probable monster lugging - assuming Dean doesn't find another way out.

Hope that doesn't set Sam back too much. But I love that he went after Dean and that Dean had already taken care of the Manticore. Now just how to get back. :-)
