Anorexitron and Punkrockbot hit the town!

Good things are born from boredom.

Another fine example of this was born yesterday. Rather... a pair of fine examples. Anorexitron and Punkrockbot were created in the park last evening by me and Mel. Their misadventures shall be chronicled here.

Some strange old woman was pestering us while we were constructing them. She talked about how she always converses with people, how she never got to make things out of boxes because they were 'rare' in her day, how she does strange things to freak people out with her husband all the time... and she asked us questions, like if we were making our robots for a parade, and how old we were (she thought we weren't even teenagers)... but that wasn't the creepy part. She just had that... strange aura about her. The kind of aura that screams INSANE ASYLUM.

Ah well. She was harmless.

Things started off very well for today's activities. When we were headed toward the park, our robots in tow, we came across an old man (I would guess around 75 years old) biking down the street. I applauded said old guy for taking initiative and riding a two-wheeled vehicle. Then I noticed something... different about the man. As I glanced after him as he rode down the street, I spotted the symbol of the band Nine Inch Nails. I was completely floored and Mel didn't even believe what I saw. Thus, I made her turn around in a parking lot and follow the man. There is a bit of video footage, but it isn't very good, and I didn't get a clean shot of him. I hope you'll all take it as enough proof. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life.

After that, though we were still floored at our odd and... very interesting find, we moved on to the park. We spotted someone we knew crossing the street (Sam) so we crossed as well and had her take a photo of the robots at the beach.

We spotted Santa and the Walleye (you know, the one they drop on New Year's) down by Wendy's, so we walked down Perry street to get our photo taken with him. Then we went into Wendy's to see if Jose was working. The woman behind the counter wouldn't even talk to us. (There is video footage of the Wendy's trip. Be patient.)

From there, we took it pretty easy. We decided where we're going to battle the robots and played on the play equipment at the park(s)...

Overall, it was a very rewarding and satisfying day.
Possibly one of the best days I've ever had.

Expect links to the photos and videos that were taken in the near future. <3

Also, keep a heads up, I might be creating a new LJ. I've had this one too long.
