:O Beware the long, story-like entry of detailed deliciousness!

Things are going reasonably well right now over all (but not at the very second, as I'm feeling a bit sickly in my stomach). This past weekend was much fun. >3

Saturday, I got my hair trimmed, which I needed desperately. e_e; Then I went to stay the night at Jasmine's new house in Fremont. Her mother, Gina (who's pretty cool, as moms go), Gina's friend Tamika (who is not as ghetto as her name sounds), Jas and I all went first to a neat little record shop in Toledo so Jas could pick out her birthday presents (her birthday had been earlier in the week, but wasn't celebrated very well due to all the work a move presents). While there, I picked up a good, cheap VHS copy of Clerks (huzzah for Jay and Silent Bob!), and she got a few random things, including the most gigantic poster of Bob Marley that I have seen in my entire life. While checking out, the guys at the counter complimented Gina's scarf, which frustrated me completely. Afterall, hers was clearly straight from a random shelf in a department store, and mine was (and is, mind you), a smashing home-made scarf created by my dear dear sister. Ahem. Anyway, after that, we went for food. :D

Hello Waffle House! Why yes, I do like strawberries! How did you know? Really? What an interesting talent.

After food, we went to Toys R Us so Gina could pick up something for one of her younger kiddos, and Jas and I wandered off to amuse ourselves as twisted, mentally instable people do. We wandered through leapfrog learning pad jungles and through care-bear filled deserts, as well as a tundra filled with bicycles before we found what TRULY would amuse us: Nice, shiny, plastic toy swords. One: a gladiator sword. The other: that of a knight.
Jas, with her spasmastic persuasive skills of doom, managed to convince mother dearest to buy them for us. XD This, of course, was after she and I dueled with them a little in the store (the cardboard backings still attached), and after Tamika put on an interesting show of dancing and trying to fight with them at the same time. o_O
I broke out ahead of the pack a bit and hid behind a plastic play-house in front of the store, stalking my prey (Jas) as a lioness stalks an antelope on drugs. That is, I was hardpressed to keep from laughing. XD;
As soon as Jas came out, I shot out of my hiding place and charged at her, which got the ever pleasing reaction of a 5ft high jump and the spitting out of her gum, as well as a praise from her mother for my theatrics. XD:; Oh yes.
After a slightly lethargic ride home in the dark (it was about 10pm at this point), we went up to her room and decorated a little, adorning one wall with a collage and putting up the previously mentioned gigantic Bob Marley poster. Then we went downstairs and watched movies until we fell asleep (I estimate the time to be roughly 3am at this point).

The morning came, and little happened until we decided to whip out those dandy new swords of ours. She and I bundled up slightly, the outside air being rather cold at just around the freezing point, and headed out to duel... right into the street.
:D What better a place? Good and open, for the most part, aside from those blasted horseless carrigages that the modern people use. So we went right to it... and about a minute in... the hilt of my sword decided to crack open. e_e; I don't think the knights had to deal with that. So... we went to fetch her duct tape, and patched up the sword, which I affectionately named "Rattleblade" after the sound that the breaking of the hilt left with the dear weapon.
This time, the interuption came from an unseen woman calling out, "PUT THOSE SWORDS AWAY OR I'M CALLING THE POLICE!!" This outburst caused another, much more amused sort from Jas and I, as it was an absolutely ridiculous thing to say. Afterall, our swords were CLEARLY not real, and they weren't making much noise, either. XD Needless to say we ignored her warning.
After a few more minutes of fighting, I smacked Jas's sword so hard that I broke the blade (XD), and we had to take another duct taping break. This time, we were wise enough to tape them both completely, making them MUCH MUCH more durable. Then we went at it again, much more successfully, as well as starting to keep score. About 20 minutes after our incident with the Police woman, an old woman was dropped off at her house. Her reaction to our antics was not as loud as the other woman's... hers was simply giving us the most peculiar look I have ever seen on the face of a human before she crawled into her home. XD Ah, the elderly.
After another half of an hour or so, we retreated inside due to the swords needing a little patching, as well as the severe numbing of our fingers. The final tally of the fight:
Jas: 11
Eme: 23

Our time spent, I left for home. But not until AFTER we had made mounts of a sort for the swords on Jas's new collage wall. ^_^
