I saw her crying sitting on some else stairs. I stop walking and sat beside her. She hugs me like she knows me and I let her. Next time I saw her she was walking barefoot, high heels on her hands, wobbling while walking. She was clearly drunk. I stop once again and ask her where she is going.
Nowhere
I grab her by the arm just about when she stumbles over her own feet. She looks at me, watery sad eyes, and laugh. Her laugh sound in my ears like bitter notes of a broken violin playing sad shattered song of a painful soul. I feel my chest constricting by her unspoken sadness. Unconsciously I ran my hand through her hair and she closes her eyes. I ask her where was here home.
don’t have one
I stare blankly at her. How can she doesn’t have a home. So I ask her once again where she was going and she answers me with her blank dark eyes. She stares at me like I was something completely knew to her. She tilts her head to the left side and smile all crooked and sad.
“Where you wanna go?” she sighs and looks over my shoulder and then another sigh.
Where you wanna take me?
She ended on my house curled on the sofa while I make her some coffee. When I came back with two cups of a very black and very hot coffee she was peacefully asleep. Ethereal features making their way through her skin. She was beautiful and I stare in awe at her.
How can this person be so alone? What I’m gonna do with this heart that is slipping? A heart that is falling freely for a stranger, a beautiful stranger. I touch her face with my fingertips and a smile slip through her lips.
And I made a decision… I’m gonna love her.
