I been neglecting my fics... but oh well I wanted a little distraction...
And some of that distraction turn out to be hella disturbing.
Damn they have some disturbing movies.
So my journey with korean movies started with A tale of two sisters.
Summary: Two sisters who, after spending time in a mental institution, return to the home of their father and cruel stepmother. Once there, in addition to dealing with their stepmother's obsessive and unbalanced ways, an interfering ghost also affects their recovery.
I saw this movie at Specs (place of movies, video games and music) and I was surprise to see a Korean movie in a store in Puerto Rico plus it was at the horror section (yeah horror movies amuse me... I know Im sick lol) So I search for it and well it took me months to see it cuz the first half of the movie was hella boring... but the end... very disturbing. Just a sample... the main girl founds a dead bird inside the refrigerator... creepy right. The movie is on crunchyroll and veoh with english sub. If you are up for a disturbing korean horror movie were you have to push your brain to understand the ending this is the movie for you.
Then today I stumble upon this movie call Beautiful
Summary: There is a girl, Eun-young, who is not happy for her breathtaking beauty. She gets lonely and exhausted from the stares from men and jealousies from women. One day, she gets raped by one of her stalkers, Sung-min and hears the terrible words from him. “I did it just because you are so beautiful.” She believes that she was raped because of her cruel beauty and starts to kill her beautiful looks. And there is one guy who runs after her…
Talking about disturbing... this is one. The movie has a message but the plot line is so nasty and crazy that is hard to see the message. This is one of the unusual korean movies, plot wise, so if you have the stomach to sit down and hour and half to see a traumatize girl and filthy asshole guys and a bunch of stupid teenage that thinks being pretty solves anything then this is the movie for you.
I think Im gonna do another post but will less disturbing movies.
