I hate stupid questions.

Did you ever have that perfect job? You know the one I mean. You have a boss who you really like, she demands perfection but since that is what you expect of yourself you get along great with her. She is the only person you answer to, yet you have several people who answer to you and a couple you can actually get to do your typing for you. Your one-hour lunches are sometimes an hour and a half and no one says a word. You work alone most of the time and it suits your personality. You handle highly classified documents and no one ever questions your loyalty or your ability to keep a secret.

I had that job, for 4 years, till hubby decided he hated his job and asked if I would like to move 1000 miles away so he could take his dream job.

I’ve been here a year and a half and I finally decided I’d like to work again. Surprise, surprise, I can’t find a job! I went into an Employment agency to drop off a resume today and the young woman interviewing me asked why I had left my last place of employment. To which I replied “because I live HERE now” - if she had actually even bothered to look at the resume perhaps she might have noticed the change of address. stupid bitch, I could do her job

So the question is, how do I lower my expectations?
