thursday brought about an impromptu shroom trip (thanks to the likes of johnny's bro). we proceede to watch "baraka", with a giant amplifier booming out the hard tribal drums and sequences. it was awesome. the vast multitude of cultures, the raw primal energy that stems directly from the earth itself, the influx of our customs and traditions that destroy a way of life that never stood a chance, the various panoramic views of waterfalls, clouds, forests, holy shrines, it all brougth tears and joy into my eyes.
friday. i was with d-man and rosaly, got completely trashed on bacardi 8 and heineken, where we tried to get into revolver, but found ourselves facing a brutally long line, spent a while at denny's, and my walk home was insanely long.
i don't really feel up to writing much more, but felt obligated to put this up.
if you can find "Baraka", do watch. it will put some very important and neglected things in perspective.
