I GO TO TISCH!
SO....first off...mom came in town this weekend - and got to see my show which went WONDERFUL!! and she and i hung out on sunday and sunday morning we had breakfast in union sq. and guess who was sitting next to me...? TIM ROBBINS!!!!
so tonight was the TISCH GALA! it was at the St. James theatre (where PRODUCERS is at) - it was honoring tisch alums. (tisch is the nyu school of the arts - has film, drama, etc...)
I got there a bit early and WILLIAM H. MACY and FELICITY HUFFMAN walked right right right past me!!! it was amazing! and MARCIA GAY HARDEN!!
so i had a wonderful seat (after re-sitting myself!) - in the mezzanine was mostly all nyu-tisch students! only tisch students could get tickets - out of the people at nyu that is. BILLY CRYSTAL hosted the event!!! he was RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF MY EYES!! throughout the night watching TONY KUSHNER, GEORGE C. WOOLFE, FELICITY HUFFMAN, PHILIP SEYMOUR HOFFMAN, BILLY CRUDUP, NEIL LABUTE and many many many many many other wonderful actors/actresses in both film and stage talk about their pride of being from NYU-TISCH! i had tears in my eyes - i am so incredibly lucky to be here where so many dreams come true! SO SO many dreams have come true at nyu-tisch and i will be one of those millions of dreams that will come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i love my life!!!!!!!! :) and LA IS HERE! - she leaves on weds morning but has been here since last saturday (so here for a week and a half) and we've had the best time ever!!!!!
