so gina and the kids are on vacation this week - so i have a week off which is nice but also boring!! today i woke up at 12:30pm!!! i like waking up at 10 though...but i needed the sleep! and the sun is sort of out but sort of not so laying out is a maybe! :) but there are loads of things i need to do around the house that i can do today! mom and michael are in chicago looking at colleges so i'm holding down the fort! i love blasting music and singing and dancing around like crazy!!!!!!! heck, i do that when there are loads of people around though as well! jeff and i are seeing "Scoop" tonight - i'm looking forward to it. i also want to see talladega nights, john tucker (with la - inside joke!) and weds. i want to see "world trade center".
three weeks left - crazy soon. of course i can't wait but there is so much to do before then - people to see and memories to make! i'm not rushing it by at all! jeff was describing me on myspace and he wrote "happy, optimistic and lives life to the fullest" and i smiled. there was a point in my life that those words wouldn't have described me but i'm back to that! hehehe! i'm just so giddy lately! lately meaning the past year!!!! i mean i'm human so of course i have had a few days where life is just life but about 360 days of this past year have been: "LIFELIFELIFE!!!! FUBRYFURBYFURBY!!!!" - good way to describe it..
so friday was mac's 3rd birthday!! gina, pepe, mac and i went to the zoo then played in the sprinkler then over to Oma's for birthday dinner! oma and opa are ej's parents. they live on a 21 acre farm - only about 10 min from gina! beautiful house that opa built with his own hands!! i love them! gina's parents were there as well! opa made an amazing dinner - and oma gave me a small gift! since i only have one grandma and don't remember my grandpa it felt nice to be around all of them. i love hearing all their stories!!! then i went to graeters with my dad, mom, grandma, and michael - dad gave me this beautiful 100yr old painting of an NYU girl - person who worked with him in nebraska had it and she was moving and knew that i went to NYU and just gave it to him for free! it's beautiful and i adore it!! then dad, mom and i went up to the little flower festival because dad wanted to eat! it was great - got to see matt (for about 3 min), tom, ashley (i haven't seen all summer!), kelly and her michael, and a few other random people from grade school! i got to prove tom wrong ;) in a very good way - since i'm not stuck up and still talk to people from cincy (don't know why i wouldn't have!) but for the record for everyone - just because i say cincinnati isn't the place for me i still adore the people! then dad, mom and i came home to watch more "friends"!
saturday dad and i went to my mom's cousin's house for a small family gathering/reunion then he and i went on an adventure to newport for the getta (sp?) festival! we got a caricature (sp?) done! then went and cheered on michael at his soccer game...my parents got embarrassed because of me...i really got into it! i haven't been to a sports game in a long long time and it took a bit to get back into the rhythm of things but then i just wanted our team to destroy the other team - of course i literatly mean destroy - i wanted blood, screaming fighting....and i yelled that out! my parents were nervous about me getting kicked out! i just like rugby and hockey i guess- i like when people beat each other up! for real or fake! haha! :) :P then came home and we watched "airplane!" - my first time watching it all the way through! (i vaguely remember watching parts of it...but i don't remember where..or rather with who!) then late late jeff picked me up and we went up to loveland to rachel's house because dusten was in town and all of wanted to hang out - including schmee! i was really tired when we got there but then went into crazy slap happy mode! i spent a good fifteen minutes on the treadmill for kicks and to get energy! i kept running around her house and jumping on the bed on the floor as schmee tackled me while we threw the ball! then schmee left and jeff and i watched "peter pan" - ahh...jeremy sumpter...i still adore! finally at 4am we all fell asleep!
got up at 9 and jeff came back to my house with me because gina was dropping the kids off for the morning - he hung out with me and the kids in the pool! then he left and then gina picked the kids up for their naptime. my mom was also with us at the house - the kids adore my mom (aka: e-mama) and we watched "hercules" during lunch! then mom and i went to meijers and i got even more movies! this summer between my birthday and just me in general i've gotten over 30 new movies!!!! - i love sales!! i mean who can resist great movies for $5.50?? LA also stopped by which was great because i hadn't seen her in a week - since she was in panama! i'm so glad she's back!! then gina and the kids came back over for more swimming and ej joined us and we all ordered pizza! i didn't really eat because i was hanging out with the sisterhood later! after gina and the gang left nora, leslie and becca picked me up for the best birthday picnic ever!! we went to blue rock park - i've been wanting to have a picnic for years now and i finally got it!! an awesome cookie cake with the best icing ever...and it looks great all over your teeth and nose! then after some volleyball we went to nora's house to watch the season premiere of "flava of love" on VH1 - my first time even hearing about this show but it was hilarious! i mean the nicknames and everything? ha! we all were having a great time - becca and i kept saying which ones we wanted off and everything! then leslie drove me home and i crashed!
well...off to clean up the house because i think my mom would appreciate it and also get some work done on the computer and also to dance and sing like crazy as i do it!! :P and happy pre-birthday melissa! (it's tomorrow and you'll be 19!!!)
