thank you for connecting me to elders Josephine Mandamin and Beatrice Twance-Hynes and the women drum group Anemki Wajew
i believe and trust i have all the support to push me along in doing the work i am doing
i'm so grateful to find my voice and to feel less and less hesitant
help me to continue to speak out and build community
this is the work i want to do and love and vision every day
i want to shift people's attitudes that weigh each other down and don't serve in the growth and learning
thankyou for my family and friends for nourishing me!

it was powerful to hear women sing and drum and to lead a march to help guide the space and facilitate the evening at Take Back The Night. i shouted my lungs out in anger and love and the feeling of marching hard and steady was incredible
