as mine to "ours"
yours is
the language shifts as it does and has over geological
time where boundaries shift and divide and remove
like
colony
in the absence of
what you say
it's not easy
to say no to stand up to
step in
to
a space
of difference
we notice what is different so much more easily than what is the same
sometimes
it's because it's so markedly sharp
-sticks out
like your ears do
like mine one ear is higher than the other according to my dentist.
what was that?
what was that?
"ours"
no longer is that the same.
a lullaby is built on a la la layers that find stories like the one my dad
would read before bed to me, aesop's fables
but instead of listening so quietly and with pure attention
suddenly, i say no - that's not how the story is or how the story goes.
lost,
anthro concepts,
