Unsent letter: Email to our landlord

I have missed writing in my livejournal.
I have been adhering and breaking Newton's Three Laws of Motion, particularly this year.

The motions are sort like one big synonymous wave of moving out, coming out, going out, working out.

And now it is already August, and at this time last year it seemed like no matter what was happening it felt right and okay and maybe it is just the feeling of the zenith of summer for me, no matter the year. The time where I know things come to a sort of end and there is another beginning around the corner if you follow the very edge of the calendar's square.

I am missing details to trace how I got to where I am here, right now. That's okay. I'm hoping to have some time to write soon.

Serendipity seems to welcome itself when I let go of anxieties, desire, and just say okay -- and accept and acknowledge all the comes my way. I embrace all of these opportunities to help others, to learn about myself and others, to learn and try something new and to grow into a more passionate person who loves to share and just live life. Here are some hilarious emails to document and support and show progress -- MOVING OUT

Dear Best Landlords Ever,

In the last email, we asked about timeframes for some issues with the basement and things needing to be fixed. We’d like an update about these because the issues we are concerned with are heating (e.g. hole in wall, windows, furnace) and security (e.g. windows) and we hope they can be dealt with before the colder months roll in, and then problems potentially become bigger for all of us.

We still have the same issues and some additional things we have noticed and are bringing to you in this email.

When are you in Thunder Bay to take a look at these problems or can you let us know which companies you will be contacting to have a look?

The concern we have with the hole in the wall is more about heating/insulation in the colder months, and not a security issue. We’d like it filled somehow.

Furnace door is still broken. The technician talked to Moh about it emitting white carbon and the furnace being old. You mentioned you’ll be monitoring it’s longevity. If it happens that the furnace kicks out in the colder months- How quickly can it be fixed? Can you give us an idea of what to expect from the technician/company? The water boiler issue was dealt with relatively well, but Moh and I and our housemates also could not shower for 3 days because when we stopped getting hot water, it fell on a weekend which meant the company was not able to fix it immediately. I personally do not want to worry about the furnace going and having to sort out accommodations, which I think you can understand.

A possible security issue we have noticed is the glass window of our door. Can you look at it and reinforce the window. The window’s plastic siding is loose so the top corner  of the outer glass is able to move and wiggle and press into the inside layer of glass.

We are also asking that the basement windows be fixed up for both security and heating reasons.

Please let us know what is possible in terms of fixing these things and when they will be looked at.

Thanks,
Your greatest ever tenants, ever in the history
-j and moh.

This email will be sent shortly.
