Title: Re-connecting with your inner child

Don't forget the joy of play, stay in touch with your inner child and you too can be twelve and twenty-one at the very same time.
Tonight I finally had a chance to stay in and finish up my piece for the juried exhibition show... The theme is "connections" and the last day of submission is Saturday. Yay! One day early, after deliberating for a few weeks. Originally I wanted to construct/re-furnish an odd siamese chair but abandoned the idea after trying to sculpt with aluminum wire, then cardboard and things were looking too flimsy and like a sad Alexander Calder.
I'm openly prepared for rejection! Although, it'd be sweet if the piece got in.
My bedroom is an utter mess of fabrics, paper, materials, books and clothing...
