Hiroshima Concert Reports (13/12,14/12)
Real life updates:
1) I went to Malaysia, Desaru, from yesterday (14/12) to yesterday (14/12). Yeah for a one day tour xD Visited an ostrich farm where i fed the ostriches and flailed at the baby ostriches (they are really really cute!) And then we went on a boat ride and saw many fireflies. The fireflies mainly gather on the trees and they look like those christmas lights on christmas trees. It's really beautiful :) A pity no firelies flew onto the boat this time round :D I remember trying but failing to catch them seven years ago on the same trip. oh yes i need to complain on the inefficiency of the Singapore customs >< It took just 15 minutes to clear Malaysia customs and a freaking 2 hours to clear Singapore's -.- Those high tech finger print machines they installed just worsened the problem because half the people were stuck there cos of that -.-
2) Got my Autism Resource Centre job! I hope they post me to Pathlight instead of Eden since it's much nearer to my house :)
Fandom updates:
1) I FINALLY GOT MY MEMBERSHIP!!! Much thanks to kiwi~ Now i have to post loads before the fancams pop up :D:D
2) I don't think i've officially said this here before but i'm really getting into Arashi lately :) Especially sho and aiba :D I need to change my nino icon to a sho/aiba one :D Sher recommended me loads of videos and i shall get down to watching them this week :D I need more aiba engrish and sho's art fail :D:D
Now for the concert reports for this week~ I'm sure more detailed ones will be out really soon esp since daelite went for the con this time round so i'm really looking forward to her detailed report :D:D Also, two singaporeans went this time round too and i'm glad almost all the NEWS members who saw the Singapore board they carried acknowledged it! ALL EXCEPT RYO OF COURSE. I CAN'T BELIEVE HE JUST STARED AT THE SINGAPORE BOARD SO LONG AND SO BLANKLY. If he still doesn't know of Singapore by the Fukuoka concert, i'm gonna distribute pictures of him like these:

1) Short snippet from MC of the Saturday Show
The talk started off with NEWS talking about Massu's underwear (which btw is white with red hearts) They then talked about the change in the song lineup.
Kei: So this may be a concert limited to Hiroshima~
Audience: KYA~~~
Kei: Everyone loves limited editions eh~
Massu: So, didn't the magazines mention a question about what you would like to eat on the last day on Earth before the end of the world?
Kei: Mm *smiles*
Massu: But if we know when Earth's gonna be destroyed, I don't think we would be thinking of eating..
Kei: It's just an example *smiles* What would you like to eat?
Massu: Mm.. Gyoza!
Pi: You still want to eat that in the end *smiles*
Kei: What would you eat, Ryo-chan?
Ryo: Mm..
Kei: Sea Urchin!
Pi: Sea Urchin?
Kei: Mm.. EH? That should be for Shige!?
Shige: Ay.. Should be sea urchin for me! *smiles*
Massu: Shogayaki? (ginger pork)
Pi: Udon?!
Ryo: Not those. It's mum's cooking!!
Kei: Ah it's that~ That's the correct answer!
Shige: So it's gyoza for Massu eh.. *smiles*

After Pi and Kei taught the audience how to do the dance for ginza rhapsody, they left the stage. The members suddenly realized Ryo was gone as well. Hence, only Massu, Shige and Tegoshi were left on the stage.
Massu+Shige+Tego: ???
Audience: *laughs*
Massu: Tegoshi doesn't talk eh?
Tegoshi: Ah.. really?
Massu: Tegoshi, you're familiar with the dance steps for the next song yeah?
Tegoshi: EH? WHAT?
Massu: the dance steps.. *smiles*
Tegoshi: Ah~ Yes!! *starts dancing after saying that*
Shige+Massu+Tegoshi: ????????
Audience erupts in laughter.
Shige: So Tegoshi is filming a movie yeah?
Tegoshi: Yes.
Shige: You've started filming?
Tegoshi: Yes.
Shige+Massu+Tegoshi: ??????
Audience erupts in laughter again.
LOL everyone is trying so hard to make Tegoshi talk but he just refuses to xDD It's a wonder how that guy's the noisiest backstage and refuse to say more than a one-word reply on stage :D Is this..stage fright? o.0
2) Apparently Tegoshi has been daydreaming alot lately. He even introduced Hiroshima as Oita in one of the shows -.-
3) From a Japanese report: A Japanese fan patted Massu's stomach when Massu went past her.
Massu gave a "what are you doing" stare and remembered her. Everytime Massu passes by that girl, he would give her an angry look. The girl finds Massu's reaction extremely funny :D
This sounds like what ryo would do too~ haha massu doesn't like to be molested!
4) Screw-ups during concerts.
- During Say Hello, Yamapi knocked down his chair accidentally. As it's his solo singing part then, Yamapi couldn't pick up his chair. Everyone else was doing dances then. Massu tried to pick up the chair (in the midst of dancing) but failed. Kei finally managed to pick up the chair xD Because Yamapi was back-facing the chair, he didn't see what Kei did. After his solo part, he turned around a little, wanting to pick up the chair but saw it already upright. The dance for this particular performance was really messy (as a result?)
- During Say Hello as well, Ryo intentionally swung his chair by a big diameter. Shige smiled and gave Ryo more space.
- Ryo dropped his stick during Say Hello (i think), hesitated for two seconds, and then jumped down to pick it up. He then returned to his position, pouted a little and continued his dance xD
5) Member-ai
- Ryo took off Kei's shirt, touched kei and pulled kei's ring out of his finger and threw it into the audience o.0
- Kei lay down on the ground. Tegoshi ignored him at first but went on top of him after a while. Pi joined in and jumped on top of Tegoshi. Meaning the order was ground->kei->tego->pi. After Pi got up, Tegoshi continued pressing down on Kei and they were so close that they look like they were about to kiss. Kei could only shout "やめでください" (please stop!)
- The atmosphere was very relaxed and the members gave each other eye contact a lot.
- Pi was sighted bumping into Kei intentionally and Kei helped Pi remove his Tee.
- When Pi did his introduction, Ryotego were playing/making trouble at the back (i'm not sure of the details here)
Shige kinda forgot the dance steps in Taiyou no Namida. Ryo started off laughing at Shige during the performance and then got nearer to Shige and tried to uhh molest Shige during the first day performance of taiyou no namida. After that, Shige had to guard himself for all performances of weeeek and taiyou no namida because Ryo tries to touch him everytime xD Because Shige defended himself too well, Ryo couldn't touch him and hence went to disturb Koyama (refer to first bullet point).
- Ryotego kept making eye contact in Hoshi wo Mezashite. Ryo tried making Tegoshi eat one of the paper hearts that came down from the top. Tegoshi had to keep dodging Ryo xD
6) Tegoshi's coat+Kei's sportwear
Their personal clothing appeared on stage twice. Kei and Pi said Tegoshi's coat was exaggerated and made him wear it and do a catwalk on the middle pathway. Kei's personal clothing (sportswear) had many prints on them. Ryo wore Kei's sportswear on the encore for the second show on Sunday.
7) During MC when they were talking about Uchiwas, Pi said he saw a really cool uchiwa and went down to the fan in the audience to get it.
That uchiwa was professionally-made with Pi and a few hearts on it. It is really shiny and apparently made of Swarovski crystals. Everyone held it and commented that the uchiwa's really heavy. Massu asked if the fan spent a bomb on it and the fan answered she spent 100,000 yen on it. Ryo immediately exclaimed "100,000 yen?!?!" very loudly. The back of the uchiwa was really cute. It has いまはwritten on it and that funny pose everyone was obsessed with in the pacific dvd. When Pi returned the uchiwa to the fan, he actually went down on one of his knees to give it to the fan.
Hahha wow perhaps it's worth it to spend that 100,000 yen, especially if it appears in the con dvd!
8) There should be a dvd release for this concert since Massu was recording the audience with a video cam during change the world. Shige's in charge of filming for the fukuoka con. And YES the pi tego kei sandwich was FILMED by massu :D
9) MC talk about the origin of NEWS' names.
Pi's name was supposedly something like yuji or yuya. Tegoshi then commented "wouldn't that mean my name is used by you?" But Pi said he's born before Tegoshi hence Tegoshi is the one using Pi's name. Kei said that he's called 桃太郎 if he wasn't called 庆一郎 when he was young. Pi said the decoration in the concert would be of peaches instead of diamonds if Kei's called 桃太郎. 桃=peach.
10) MC talk about Massu's new drama
Pi: Talking about firefighters, I heard there isn't any feelings live.
Massu: Feelings? Whose?
Pi: That of yourself. (firefighters) cannot be biased towards a person! He has to be fair when making decisions, such as the choice of saving three persons instead of just one particular person..
Massu: Is it something like deciding whether to save everyone here or to save just Tegoshi?
Shige: Whether to save your loved one or all the citizens of the country? Is this what you mean?
Pi: Mm!
Shige: It would be hard when it comes to parents.
Koyama: You're making a fuss!
Shige: What's wrong with me, I seem abnormal today. *smiles*
11) About Ryo
- He was spotted making weird faces and teasing everyone (except Yamapi) throughout the show.
- Ryo fans are recommended to get good seats in concerts since Ryo has many small actions/interesting expressions that can only be spotted up close :D
- Ryo only shakes hands with fans who follow concert rules and ignores those who don't :)
12) Ryopi moments
- They sat side by side singing a particular song.
- During a certain MC, Pi was talking about going to the gym with Koyato during the four-hour break for last year's MSSP. Kei laughed and said Ryo went as well and Pi was like "EHH?" Ryo looked really angry. Pi then hurriedly ask Koyato if the three of them ever went to the gym together and the answer was "no". At this moment, Ryo turned and left the stage. The fans screamt and Pi hurriedly apologized using honorifics. Ryo then suddenly appeared on stage with a wide smile on his face and said he left to take a bottle of water :D
13) About Pi
- Pi's very gentle to all his fans. He would smile and wave whenever he sees his uchiwa :D He stretches out his hand a lot for fans to molest touch.
- At then end of one of the concerts when fans were about to leave the hall, there were loud screams suddenly! Yamapi emerged, took off his shirt and threw it to the audience without even looking. Unfortunately, the shirt landed a distance away from the fans sitting on the first row such that no one could reach it and a staff cleared it away in the end =.=
14) About Kei
- Seems like he fell two metres from the stage :S
15) On flying chus
During one of the mc, it's said that shige never ever gives flying chus. Shige said that's because he's shy and envies tegoshi for being able to sing and chu at the same time. Tegoshi and Kei then gave Shige a demonstration. Boss (ryo) then ordered Shige to give flying chus whenever he sees an uchiwa saying "flying chu" even if it's a non-shige fan. The second half of the concert was thus filled with shige chus xDD
