(no subject)
Well, I haven't updated this week, have I? My sis was joking when I told her I now keep a diary (yes, I'm cheating on my LJ with a proper, written one!). She said that it would read "got up at noon, watched DVDs, went to River Cafe, watched 8 Simple Rules (CJ's BACK :D:D:D:D!!!), bed" every day...That's not far from the truth...but I have done a *few* interesting things, I think!
Err...Wednesday was quite busy. I went up to the Cri to bang on the Box Office window!! Coffee again with Dave - and this time I didn't glaze over until an hour into our conversation. He had me in stitches with his stories...so many weirdos go into the box office on a regular basis it seems. Also a debate on creationism, disability rights and his presentation on why I shouldn't drink milk. Its a breath of fresh air to get out and have a blether with such an interesting person.
In the evening I went to the Lent Course in my church. It was really interesting, though I think I crammed too much in to my day :0S My back gave out...There's a cut off point of about 7pm and after that my muscles seem to seize up. Which is a bit of a bugger, to say the least.
Friday my youth pastor had me round to dinner. We played cards with his kids and then I watched American Idol with Dean and Kris. They know my limits right now!!
the weekend is crap, as is every weekend. As far as I'm concerned, the weekend has always been a time for *doing* stuff - shopping, wandering (I LOVE to wander aimlessly through Soho and just soak it up!!), theatre-ing and the like. But yesterday I got an hour down the market and then we turned back. By mid-afternoon, I was ready for a cuppa and to snuggle up on the sofa. Still I'm happy as my ACORN ANTIQUES THE MUSICAL DVD has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've watched various numbers, especially the MACAROONS! song over and over and over....It brings back all the excitment and happiness of the first time I saw it!!!!!!!!!! :0D
My mummy also bought me two disney DVDs, Robin Hood and Lady and the Tramp...two of my absolute faves!! Robin hood was the first video I ever owned!
