(no subject)
Bah. I feel my uni holiday time isn't be used very effectively. For the lack of work I'm doing, I'm not watching as nearly as much Scrubs as I'd like to. Ben has them at his house, and I only feel like I'm watching the series when I can finish a season in a day - none of this "one disk here, a couple of episodes there" I CAN'T GET THE REAL EXPERIENCE WITHOUT WATCHING IT HOURS ON END!!! =(
Why does he have to work so much? I need to get out of this house and go somewhere besides Rundle Mall. Anyone want to hang out with me? Anyone? I have nothing to do for the next few days... unless work calls me in - then I'll have to cancel on yo' ass.
Anyone else getting excited about second semester of Uni? No? Just me, huh. I think I'm more excited about the stationary shopping (honestly, is there no more rewarding experience?) and the prospect of being an awesome student than actually being an awesome student. You should have a look at my desk - it's awesome student central. Calandars with due dates, whiteboard, laptop, a place for my special coffee mug and tonnes of highlighters. Too bad I never use it. Ha!
Hrm, 10:33pm and I am rambling. I could be watching CSI, but I've seen that epsiode SO many times! Do you ever get a certain show where you always happen to stumble across it, and they're always running that same episode... so you've gone to watch it on about 5 different occasions, but you've only managed to see ONE episode cause by some weird law (not Murphy's, but I'll bet some other Irish guy) its always that episode... your episode. I hope so, otherwise I'm going crazy. My 'episode' would have to be that CSI one... you may have seen it - two people meet in a movie theatre and see Strangers on a Train and then they make a pact like the one in the movie to 'take care of' each other's problems only one can't go through with it... and yada yada yada... ends up dead. Yup, seen that about 5 times. No joke.
Oh! You know what is also weird with televison, which I know happens all the time with The Simpsons, is for some reason you're thinking of a certain episode just out of nowhere, then BAM! next time you watch that show, it'll magically be that episode! Isn't that just spooky? Something REALLY weird happened to me the other week - I was reminising through some old Ethan Emby information (RIP "Hot" Ethan) and it mentioned he was in a Law and Order CI* episode and BAM! next week when I watched Law and Order CI it was the episode with him in it! I almost had a fit (not cause he was in it - he's gross now, but cause of the 'coincidence') I felt like someone was watching me... *Dr Who music*
