School:
Winter semester is finally over! I did really well on my final and I am looking forward to my spring break and then the Spring Quarter. It will be a good change of pace. I will be taking The History of American Immigration, Gardening, and Swimming. Hell Yeah!
Spring Break and Friends:
Last night I got to hang out with friends I scarcely see. Kevin G and Yasmin came over and I got to see Fuckin’ Marple, which only happens once in a Blue Moon, and Michele! Michele is back from Massachusetts and she got an amazing new tattoo. It’s a tree with branches and roots and its right in the center of her chest! It’s pretty much the coolest tattoo you could ever have.
Music:
I’m very excited about a new music project forming with long time friends Dustin and Gordon. I play drums and they both play guitar and do vocals. We’re calling it Ghidorah. It’s basically a metal band. Sub genres might be grind, doom, and hardcore.
I recently had the privilege and honor to record cello parts for Michael Mays at the Robert Lang studio. Right now the demo is 90% done and we can not continue work until Pearl Jam finishes up their week in the studio. Haha. Hurry up fuckin’ Pearl Jam, you must think you’re the only damn band that ever uses this studio!
Vacation:
Me and some friends of mine were planning a trip to the Olympic National Park for next weekend but I called the information center and apparently there is still 30 feet of snow in some parts of the park. Other parts are rapidly melting but the conditions will probably not be suitable for a two night hike. Instead we are now planning a trip to Guemas island up by the town of Anacortes. We are planning to hike to the top of the hill on the mountain and spend the night there that way when we wake up the next morning we will have a view of the entire San Juan Islands.
