[The post clicks on, unceremoniously, when Umi sets it down (along with a few other things, judging from the rustling sound of a bag being dropped down) and accidentally hits a button. The video begins recording, but all you get to see is her back and the shipyard as she walks away from the camera, across the dock, seemingly unaware that it's on at

[She sighs, knowing all too well the feeling of wanting to be on that boat when she's down...]
That doesn't sound like a bad idea, my climatact doesn't work properly in the city.
[There's a long pause before she speaks again.]
... Would you like company?

[She still doesn't know that first bit posted, but she can't imagine Nami or the others are feeling any better about crewmate-disappearances than she is ;;]
There's no way I would say no to it right now...thanks, Nami.

[It isn't as hard as a shock of losing Sanji or Robin, but she doesn't like it any more. More than anything her fear of being unprotected has hit harder than ever. Luffy, Chopper and Ace were all DF users and left powerless...
Not to mention the loss of another ah... friend she had made. It's easy to say Nami's been left pretty wounded, not that she's going to show it.
Gathering her weapon in her hands she high-tails it to the dock, there within minutes she seeks out Umi.]

It's been a strange couple of weeks, that much is for certain, and Umi mulls over that time a bit while she waits, looking up at the ship. Just a few weeks ago --well, it's going on months, by now-- they were up there and out in the open water...all of them, together.
Things change fast -- but, speaking of fast, it isn't long before she spots Nami approaching the docks. Umi rises from her spot at the railing and waves the red-haired girl over.]
Over here!

This is a climatact
[She held the weapon out for Umi to see.]
It's one of a kind, Usopp made it for me...
[Trailing off, she frowns slightly. Usopp...]

Surprise lights her features at the mention of the maker. Now there was someone she hadn't heard mentioned in a while.]
Usopp did? Really...
[She pauses at the expression, a faint, almost nostalgic smile pulling at her face for a moment.]
...He said he could do stuff like that. I was never completely sure if I believed him, though.

[While the thought of him before hurt a little, she seems a bit excited now.]
He made it using dials-- Did you tell you about those? The first one was a little different and not as good. The idiot didn't even know what he was doing, it was all party tricks to him.
[She grins a little.]
Stand back and I'll show you how it works... though you might want to duck, I can't grantee what it will do.

[It sounds a lot like Usopp, though. To the letter. Goofing off and managing to get something really special out of it...
In a way, it fits for all of them.
She takes a step back, watching eagerly --and, of course, waiting to see if she'll need to duck.]
All right, I'm ready whenever you are!

[Shaking her head, she takes a step back.]
Ready?
[Without waiting for a reply, she disconnects the first half from the rest of the staff. Poised with one half in each hand she waits a moment, feeling the air pressure around her before throwing it at what feels like just the right time.]
Cyclone Tempo!
[Or at least that's what she was going for. A small whirlwind began following the path of the weapon piece, only where it should have boomerang back to Nami it shot off mid-attack. The whirlwind completely died as it shot off across the deck, landing and sliding several feet.
Nami's face instantly deadpanned.]
... I was afraid of that.

[Umi watches the display, curiously -- it's one of the few times she's been able to see a weapon from the Grand Line. Come to think of it, Usopp and Zoro were the only two others of the crew that she's even seen using weapons...
The climatact might not actually be working right, but it paints a good enough picture, and Umi is more than just a little impressed.]
So it turns weather into a weapon, almost...that's amazing! I've never seen anything that worked like that!
