Hey...it's not like anyone has to apologize for it. Chopper and Ace...they both thought it was our fault. That they were separating us from our friends because we left the city. But even that, even if it was true-- the only people at fault are those scientists.

...That is a lousy reason no matter how logical. I suspect it is the secrets discovered more than the leaving itself. But why not get rid of all the guilty party members?
