[The communicator clicks on...and because it's been a while since this happened to her, you get to hear a ZZZZT! accompanied by a nice surprised shout.]

ACK! Why you--! ...Boy. You'd think after this long, I'd be able to keep better track of the stupid thing... Okay, okay, I'm posting. Happy now?

[A pause; when she speaks again, she sounds like ( Read more... )

You're telling me! These guys...what the heck are they doing, keeping people here that long?

I think the real question is why even bring us here in the first place.

Yeah -- that's true. Or if nothing else, how do we figure that out? Those guys definitely don't like to talk about it.

Has anyone ever tried to find them and get answers out of them?

[When you're a Straw Hat, that's clearly how everything is done.]

Definitely...a few times. I don't think anyone's had any luck, but maybe we just have to try a different method.

[HELL YEAH o9 go straw hats gooooo]

Hmm, maybe it would help to know where they are first. Then go and demand answers.

[While usually Nami does not agree with such rash behavior, sometimes it's the only way to get anything done.]

There's the tricky part, I think...finding those weirdos. They've been pretty sneaky so far about wherever they're hiding.

[Admit it, Nami, Luffy's starting to rub off on you.]

They have to be somewhere, especially if they're watching us. It might be hard, but I bet we could find them.

Ah... But the chips would probably be a problem, wouldn't they?

[Never :| ]

Now that's the truth -- they can't be that far from here, after all! We've just gotta come up with a way to find them.

The chips...do you think they would be?

[SEARCH YOUR FEELINGS, YOU KNOW THIS TO BE TRUE.]

They have to be somewhere on the planet, at least. How big do you think it is?

Ah! Sorry, I was thinking if brute force were to be used it would be harder to use it against them if the people were chipped. It's probably why they do it, isn't it...?

[NO! It's not like she was imagining Luffy punch through to get the scientists or anything.]

Last time anyone left the city...it took us a few days to get anywhere else. I'd say the planet has to be big, in that case.

Oh-- that's right, the location got switched around, didn't it? Brute force...I guess it'd be better for most people if they did have those chips out in that case.

[Oh yes. I totally believe you. And by believing you I mean Umi would be totally down with that too.]

Either that or Discedo is in an isolated area. I wouldn't mind finding out myself, but not without a team of unchipped people [Read: Straw Hats]

They do? I wasn't aware of that, just that they're hard to find to get out.

Most people? I wouldn't imagine everyone in the city is that bad. I'd love to see what everyone could do unchipped. I imagine they wouldn't be too happy with the scientists after, would they?

[Oh? In that case brb forcing Luffy to get his chip removed... or something like that. Idk.]

Somehow, that wouldn't surprise me. [...!] That's right-- did Zoro or any of the others tell you about the boat yet?

I think the scientists move them every so often. I've had mine out for a while, but a couple of people haven't been able to get them out since then.

Not bad, but not everyone has powers to worry about that chip for. Although I definitely wouldn't mind getting the location, either, for a friend of mine.

[Luffy needs his chip removed just because the week of recovery would be amazing and full of lulz xD]

Me neither, it would explain a lot of things.

Luffy mentioned it [Aka, proclaimed loudly that he was on one.] But other than that I haven't heard anything about it. You mean to tell me it's actually going to be used?

I see, does that mean you have powers? [Not that she would blame Umi if she got it out and didn't. If the location was known, she'd have her own out so fast.] Me too.

[Oh god, it would be the most entertaining thing ever.]
