[It really had been a while. He had returned to this place, disappeared, returned again, but always at a distance. It was weird, in a way, having a friend that suddenly didn't remember you.

It'd probably feel the same way if Haseo came back, lacking those memories. A little sad and uncomfortable. It would be hard to be friends...in a sense.

A hug was definitely the LAST thing she was expecting, but it certainly wasn't unwelcome, especially with how long it had been. She paused a minute, surprise evident on her face, before putting her arms around him in return. They had always been fighting or bickering in some way, and it was a little weird not to be, all considered, but maybe it was a nice break from the ordinary.]
