Because Why Not.

A) What does the last text you sent say? And to whom?
"Yes, ma'am!" Responding to a cast member in my staged reading asking if I could bring them a copy of the script.
B) What does the last text you recieved say? And from whom?
"Thanks, love you, on my way," from a different cast member (and friend, code name NG.)
C) What time do you wake up most mornings?
8:30 is generally when my alarm's set to catch the 9:02 bus.
D) Are you afraid of walking alone at night?
Sometimes, but more because the dark itself (and the incumbent potential things that go "bump" in it) makes me nervous than because I worry about people. For better or worse, I generally assume I can take anyone who wants to start something. (And walk like it, which I assume encourages people not to start things, which is great, as I am scrappy as all getout but don't actually think a fight would go well.)
E) What do you do to relax at the end of a stressful day?
I usually play a game or two of Spider Solitaire before bed.
F) Where did your last kiss take place and with whom?
At summer stock, with a coworker, during a drinking game.
G) Do/did you get into trouble a lot at school?
I mean, I put my foot in my mouth sometimes, but I feel like that happens.
H) Do you enjoy your job? If unemployed, are you content being so?
I frickin' love my job. There are times - like this week - where I just want to drown all my students in a bathtub because they're giving me lip and driving me NUTS, but then someone makes a breakthrough or you see someone at the theatre of their own free will and enjoying it and it's all worth it. (I teach Intro to Acting at a University as part of my aid package in grad school.)
I) Do you often pick up on double entendres and innuendos?
Yes.
J) Have you ever been offered drugs but declined?
Not long ago, actually. Not on any moral ground - I'm live and let live with the soft stuff - but I just don't like smoking things.
K) Have you ever met someone who has completely altered your way of thinking?
For sure. Completely is a little strong, but there are definitely people who've had big, big effects.
L) Have you ever been offered drugs and accepted?
I've tried pot a couple times. I hate smoking anything, though, so it wasn't for me. (Though it'll be legal here in July, so I'll probably try something edible when I can buy it that way, 'cause why not?)
M) Tell us something weird that turns you on.
So, I donate plasma - helpign people and getting free money? Yes, please - and occasionally the blood pressure cuff squeezes just the right way that buttons get pushed. It's very odd.
N) When did someone last admit romantic or sexual feelings for you? Was the feeling mutual?
A few months ago, during the first date that made me swear off online dating once and for all. She was very sweet, but came on very strong. Highlights included telling me I was helping her get over her ex and saying, "I want to do X with my wife - how do you feel about X?" SO uncomfortable. It's the first time I've ever had to turn someone down and felt bad about it. (Bagger Boy, however, was a joy to turn down, and you should ask me the story sometime.)
O) What is something you have given a lot of thought to lately?
The language I use to describe myself in my head, and whether or not it's conducive to who I want to be.
P) When did you last swallow your beliefs to avoid an argument or confrontation?
I mean, I let things go with my parents constantly, but otherwise...there's not a lot I care about enough to fight about it, but if there is, I'm not upset stoppign and having that conversation.
Q) Do you usually initiate hugs?
No. One of the last Lusie-doesn't-know-what-to-do-with-her-body bastians is a fear of touching people and them thinking my physical contact and I are gross, so I struggle with initiating physical intimacy of any kind, which is a shame because I think peopel here just assume I'm not a touchy person, which isn't true - I like physical contact, I'm just bad at it. I will ask to hug people sometimes, though.
R) Are you a very affectionate person?
In my way. I tend to be gushing or quite reticent - finding a middle ground is a daily battle.
S) Can you roll your own cigarettes?
I can, actually. In high school when some friends were smoking I didn't partake, but did have them show me how rolling a..ahem...cigarette worked.
T) What are you looking forward to?
The end of the term and getting back to MN. My summer job has lots of people who make me feel the way I want to feel all the time, and reconnecting to that will be nice.
U) Do you have any tattoos. Do you want any/more?
I don't have any. I definitely want one, though - I'm just waiting until the time is right. I think I know what I want, but I keep not getting it for whatever reason, so I'm okay to wait until I feel the need.
V) Are you mentally strong?
It depends on the issue and the day. I think my friends would all absolutely say yes, but it doesn't always feel that way from the inside.
W) Are you physically strong?
Not nearly as much so as I'd like to be. I mean, I can move some shit - mass moves mass, and I have mass to spare - but I definitely want to work on strength training.
X) Do you think you’re a good person?
I try to be. I don't deal well with incompetency and am sometimes willing to throw someone I like less under the bus to have something to talk about with someone I like more, so those are areas of continued growth.
Y) Name one thing you wish you could change about your life right now.
I just wish there were more hours in the day, or that I was more driven to use them well.
Z) What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Cereal, if I eat breakfast.
