(no subject)
Okay, so I wrote this SUPER LONG post that was meant to be like an update of my life for the last....uh....year. And the computer ate it.
In point form, therefore:
-my grandmother passed away last october and I miss her.
-my father is terminally ill.
-I'm injured and only working half shifts right now.
-I got my own apartment and a new kitten and Isla and I are quite happy.
-I'm turning old soon and on the Parent Advisory Council Executive. Ew.
-Isla's almost eight and in grade three.
-I'm single, and that's good because I hit rock slutty bottom.
-I'm still depressed, but off my meds which seems somehow better.
-My brother is back in my life, which is mostly good.
-Eric and I are speaking again which is mostly good.
-Tall Dark and Douchey and I got back together, broke up again, got back together for one day, swore to be bffs, broke up again, and now hate each other, or at least he hates me. I wouldn't mind him hating me, but he hates me because he thinks I did something I didn't. But this all happened kind of a long time ago and I'm over it.
-Isla's dad bounced back into her life for a few months. Then he bounced back out of it, because he'd knocked up his girlfriend, I think. They had a boy and I've filed for child support and sole custody and guardianship. Finally. Court date soon. More on this later.
-there was lots of other stuff, talking about how I feel about all of these things, but I don't want to retype it all. I will some other time.
My kitten is laying across my wrists which makes it kind hard to type. She's incorrigible. My webcam is not compatible with Windows 7, so there are no photos of how I chopped off all my hair and let my natural colour grow in and how it looks like crap. I'm okay with this, and will wait until my hair has grown long again before I put up any pictures of me. I have some, but I'm not hot right now and thus too vain to put them up except on facebook where everyone already knows I'm not hot. ^_^
