Those falls were devastating. But ya know what, she got up and fought like hell for that medal every second afterwards. That's the attitude of a champion.
I'm just so relieved that she got the silver, because I didn't expect to see her on the podium at all after seeing her program.
Definitely an unexpected outcome. I'm happy for Japan, though. They've never had a gold medal in figure skating before.
