Does anyone know how to touch up wood?
I stained my aunt's coffee table with the essential oil I bought the other day. I set the jar down, directly onto the wood, and it left two little rings, which completely stripped the stain and colour off of the wood!
I bought a stain remover pen, and sanded down the markings with a fine grade of sandpaper. The pen worked perfect for one circle.... but not the other! So, I still have a this ring that I have to touch up... and I don't know what to do. I can't spend a ton of money on this, but I will invest what's necessary. I'm almost tempted sand and restain the whole freggin thing. But, obviously, that won't work.
Does anyone have any ideas for me? If not, I'm going to go out and buy a brown Sharpie tomorrow morning and cross my fingers she doesn't notice.
