Hurricane Evacuation Trip::
Wednesday//
We get up about 4 am to hit the road for Jacksonville so we arn't here for the hurricane. well, very interesting Day. we get up. my mom says she doesn't want to go because it's not going to be all that bad of a hurricane ::Rolls eyes:: so anyways the morning goes on. My mom had given me and my sister the responsibility to give the cats allergy medicine to calm them down for the car ride. SO me and My sis did Willow first I belive. My sister was holding the cat down when I had to Open her mouth and throw the pill down her throat. well it's not as easy as it sounds. but we did so. then she ran Off and i didn't see her for awhile but when I did see her, she looked like she was drugged. she looked high. then for Opus, he was running away from me and my sister cause he heard and saw what happend to her. But yeah. well the allergy medicine can do one of two things. it can either A) Make u drowsy or b) Get you excited. well we were lucky in some parts. We got everything ready and in the car and headed up the road to Crestview to pick up my grandparents. well Willow, She was out. But Opus on the other hand. He was unbelivably excited. He was meowing like crazy and raming into the door of the cage. It was insane. so yeah later on in our travelings, Opus decides he has to Pottey. well He does twice, in his cage on himself In the car. Have you ever smelt a males urine that has been deprived of his manhood? It's the most Deadly smell. I sware. So we decided to get off at a rest stop because they couldn't stand the smell [Thank god I rode with my Grand Parents W0ot! lol] so we did that then we all were just sitting at one of these table things then this truck goes by with like 4 Inmates [People from Jail] and they just stared me and my sister down [I was Honestly scared] so I was like "Jess.... uhh those guys wont stop staring at us.." she was like "ahh those are inmates, we are nothing but another piece of meat to them, Just another woman. THey don't see those often.." I was like "Well That's comforting.." so then we saw some of these guys at the rest stop My sis was like hey he's kinda cute [He has a kid] I was like "NO BUENO!" lol [Inside Joke between the family because my brother always says that now so we always Joke about him going "No Bueno"] Yeah so then later on that day we arrived in Jacksonville AKA: THE GHETTO!! Ok I'm Not Racist, but I felt out of place being White. well the place we stayed was like the size of my bedroom. [NO JOKE] and our room was a handicap bedroom for some reason. But our shower was ghetto as ne thing so I was like Nuhuh. Well ok remember my cat pissing on himself? It still smelt horrible. So me and my mum had to give him a bath. that was very interestnig. So I was like squating down Holding the spray nozzle with one hand and the cat with the other I'm up against the wall. He is like tryin to grab something and to pull himself away from me and my mom. She was holding him to. He like hit the nozzle thing it went spraying and got me soaking wet and the drain was filled with cat hair. but now opus is all silky soft again. [We voted that me and my mom will give him a bath once every couple of months or something] So yeah that night was interesting. We went to eat at Sonny's that night. [It's not good the second time around (Burping it up)]. so After Sonny's we went to walmart to get some supplies for the room and what not. [We got lost going there] So then we went back to the hotel and called it a night. [I roomed With my Grand Parents and Got a bed to myself ;) hehe lol Even tho those beds like idk were gay as crap.].
Thursday//
We All get up, Stiff as boards from those gay ass beds. We mainly just camped Out the day Just hung out and what not. After hearing about things that happend in Niceville. My Grandparents would make small talk with people that were evacuating. [They would look on peoples car tags to see what county they were from]. Well The morning was interesting. I got up took a shower and what not. then we headed to go find a Denny's. Well It took us an hour and a half to find one [We got lost and the lady at the front office of the hotel gave us wrong Directions] So then the car ride. Everyone is stressed out cause of all this junk that's going on I'm in the front seat between my dad and my grandpa and my grandpa is going off at my grandma for getting wrong directions and he was all "If we don't find no Denny's I'm kickin Ur ass" [To my Grandma] I was like WOW! lol It was crazy. We were all just stressed out. But it was something to laugh about in the end. we finally got to eat and what not. [it only took us 10 minutes to get back to the hotel LMAO] It was about 1:40 when we finally finished and left so we skipped lunch. so then we just hung out aruond the Hotel. Dinner rolls around we went to IDK Golden Corral I belive. yep. Wasn't that bad trying to find it. Took us like 45 minutes [THat's a record] BUT we got so tired of going around and not knowing where the hell we were so we stopped at a gas station about like 25 minutes through the drive and got a map. then we got there then ate and left. My Parents and Grandparents got coffee. Hah well My dads coffee was different from everyone elses. He didn't drink it because it looked like melted shit. It was disgusting. so then we left n what not and got back to the HOtel. Then My mom My dad and my grandparents and I went and sat by the pool and disscussed how we could get home cause some of the main roads were flooded and were blocked. well after awhile we decided we would travel to tallahassee Just to be closer to home. So then we all went to bed for the ride home in the morning.
Friday//
We all Get up around 7 I belive and Then go to Shonneys for breakfast. Then head back to the hotel room and get all of our things rounded Up and Put into the Car. We left around 9ish. The got on the road and headed to Tallahassee. took us maybe 4 hours to get there. Traffic wasn't all that bad but yeah. well we heAded to The hotel that we were going to stay in for the night. we went in and they told us You can't go in rooms till 3 even tho On the phone they told us 2. so we decided to go to McDonalds for Lunch. well this guy that came in there kept starin at me so I was juss playing around and I licked my finger and ran it along my lip just to see what he would do. His mouth dropped and he kept starin. I started laughin. He was hott lol BUt yeah. I Was just messin. so then later that day, we went to the hotel and chilled for a bit. then yeah Later like around 8 we went to Long John Silvers To eat dinner. [Guy There was like OMG hott lol] Then we went back to the hotel, I called up acouple People. talked to Danielle and saw what was up. asked about the storm and our house. [Our House Thankfuly only lost part of our fence and alot of shingles. But That's alot better than some peoples.] So then when I was walking my Dog I was on the Phone with someone else for a bit. Then some random Guy came up to me [He was like a Biker, Had tatoos and what not] and was like "Aww what type of dog is that?" I was like "Uhh a mix...?" He Was like "AWW she is sooo cute!!" I was like "thanks.... ::walks off at a fast pace::" Lol Yeah then like 4 old ppl came up to me, they were like Mexican/Indian I was like uhhhhh yeah they were all scarin me. So then went back to my Hotel Room and went to sleepy.
Saturday//
We got on the road By 5:40 and began the drive home. I passed out In the car so I can't tell you alot. We stoped at a Mcdonalds like around 6am [Niceville Time] Yeah Then we ate and we got some coffee and headed on the road. Then we got stuck in traffic. Not for long tho. [THank God] We headed to the departing road for either Niceville or Crestview. We decided to go straight home and let my G-rents get to there house. as We began to drive farther On closer to our house we noticed more and more devastation more constant. so my parents were like on the edge of there seats. we saw Trees everywhere, Roofs off of Houses, Signs all bent up and on the ground and what not. we arrived in niceville and Noticed alot more. we got down on our street, There Were maybe acouple fences standing and A hell of alot of trees down and what not. we got around to our house and noticed the shingles and what not. we arrived home around 10 Am so we all got out and unboarded the windows. I went to see what was up with Tiff. See how the storm Was. then we walked around the block and what not. we came back to my house and Started on the backyard. we got done with that then we went in the pool to get the shingles out of it. it felt so good. So then after that we all chilled. [was me Jess Tiff and Shawn] My Parents went to go Get a generator.] Rika [My moms friend] Brought Some indian food over. so We were like ok. we all ate and then idk what else. Shawn helped my dad on the roof and Me and tiff did stuff in my room. I put all my stuff up that I took, Put my stuff back on my wall and what not. then for dinner, My dad cooked everything that was still ok to cook cause the freezers went off when the power did. so we had like Ribs, Steak, and hot dogs. we cooked beans and corn. was rather good! yep so why my dad was cookin on the grill, Me and my mom were out there like right by a tree and we were watching the flying squirrel eat. It was so Cute! yep then we ate and stuff then I went and got my bed ready in Ricky's room cause I was tired. then Heard Jordan outside So I went outside and Hung out with him and John for a lil Bit. then his mom Came [AHHH] and then told them they had to go. so then came inside, talked to Mike [JC] on my phone and stuff then fell asleep.
Sunday//
I woke up around 10. Surprisingly I slept rather well But I'm guessing because I have had lack of sleep lately. I woke up and got dressed after I tok my COLD shower. and did some stuff around the house. I was really bored today. I went through my CD's and what not and lissned to some of em. then later on TJ and I played cards. I schooled Him in like every game we played. It was great. he was getting mad. Then he was chasing me around the house. so I ran into my room and turned around shut the door and locked it then tripped over something and landed in a box. I have a huge bruise on my arm now. It was funny tho. then me and my mom and dad rode around to see some of the stuff around the neighborhoods. then came home and did some more work. Me and my dad saw some guys workin on the power lines so we were like yay. and didn't tell mom cause she would have gotten her hopes up. so then I came inside to sit down for acouple minutes Cause I was tired rom workin a hell of alot and then what yah know, The power flicked on, me and my mom like Looked at each other. We were happy as ne thing. so me and my dad were like SCORE! lol then yeah. They went to go get dinner cause no one felt like cooking, we ate and then Yeah Now I'm here.
In Conclusion, This lil experience has done some good to the family I think. we had our good times and our bad. we have worked together to do things and what not. I liked our vacation lol even tho it wasn't a real vacation. This is the first time I have been online since Wednesday Morning I belive and I'm in wow. I wasn't like omg without the comp lol did me some good I think. But I wouldn't be able to live without one because I got bored so quickly it wasn't even funny. But yeah. Wow It was some expierience. Well I'ma get going to bed. Because I'm like Tired as Anything. But Yeah I'll write Later. Night
