So this is that WORD MEME thing going around, where you can reply if you want to and I give you 5 words I associate with you to post about in your own journal. These are the 5 that ahamster gave me.
1. Hitler. Yay Hitler! I guess this is because of the troll I made that was Hitler, and man was he fun. Apparently Taco Bell made him poopy! But I would so like to talk about Hitler for just a sec. What an amazing dude. He brought a nation that was ruined into decay up into a major world power in a very short period of time. He was an amazing speaker, and had the ability to bring a whole nation together for a common goal. I mean, it sucks that that goal was killing people, but you do have to look at the guy's accomplishments.
2. Denton. Oh man that place. I was born there, and lived there for 24 years. And I think my... this dude I'm fucking, said it best when he called it a cesspool of drama and filth. He's never even been there. It's really a beautiful town, to be fair, full of trees, full of beautiful old buildings, and old homes with creaky wood floors. But the massive amount of drugs in that place turn normal happy people into terrified emotional dramatic beasts. I miss a lot about that town, but I'm glad that I have moved on to someplace healthier for my well-being.
3. Milla Jovovitch. Oh my god I love her so much. When I was in high school the walls of my room were covered with pictures. My friends, cool photography, and Milla. I clipped every picture I could find of her in magazines. She is so intensely beautiful, so classically pretty. There's a reason why she's my profile picture. *sigh* Biggest girl crush ever.
4. Literature. I am addicted to books. I read all the time, every chance I can get. Classic lit(Moliere, Shakespeare), modern(Vonnegut, Palahniuk), horror (Dean Koontz, Steven King), fantasy(Clive Barker, Anne Bishop), sci-fi(Douglas Adams, Madeline L'Engle), childrens books(E.L.Konigsburg, Judy Blume), romance(Diana Gabaldon). I love it. I love curling up with a good book more than any boy, flying away to a different place and leaving this world behind. I love the way certain sentances make you wanna cry with how simple and poetic they are, I love the way certain characters make you love them. I love the insight they show you, I love the new perspectives on things you never thought you would see. But I'm getting gooey, so I'll move on.
5. Final Fantasy. Rach and I were talking the other day about how obnoxious some people are when they talk about how 7 was the best one. I don't think most of those people had even ever played the other ones. They all have this wonderful story line and fun gameplay, and aside from my personal dislike to a few of them, they all just really rock. I love RPGs, and therefore I gotta love the best of the best. Some asshole at a game store tried to tell me recently how amazing Kingdom of Hearts is. :( Frustrating. How can you have a 3d camera system and no option for invert? I love Square, but they are nowhere close to infallible. I'm actually replaying FFX right now, and I adore it. So pretty. I just got past Macalania temple, and I can't believe they spent so much time making that temple so complex and beautiful, when you only see it the once. Amazing.
In other non-meme related news, I got a new job which I start end of next week. I quit LGBS Wednesday, because I couldn't stand it anymore, so now I have a good week to relax and get the house cleaned and maybe do some baking. Life is very good. I have good friends, a great job I'm about to start, and good sex. What more could a girl ask for?
