In the current theme, I've seen votes for the same character that the person was stamped as. Meaning: people stamped as Eliwood getting votes for Eliwood as their perfect parent. I was going to include a question about this in the applications from now on, but since this is a problem that we have currently, let's make this

I'm glad you brought this up, because I was wondering about it. ^^

There's also another thing I was wondering about, that may not be a big deal, but I thought I'd ask anyways, just to be sure. Can you vote for a character that's already been voted for on another application? For example, if someone got Sothe on their matchmaker application, could people vote for him on the best friend or lovechild application? (I can see it making sense in the first case, but the latter made me stop and think. xD)

Starting in September (since this won't be necessary for the Affinity Theme), I'll include a question in all applications so each person can chose which characters can be re-used and which not.
But for now on, just ask of use the common sense. For example, if a person says that her mum is like her best friend, it seems logical to vote for the same character she got on the Best Friend Theme (it has happened). Anyway, it's better to ask the person you're voting for, if you really want to say a character that it's already in one of their stamps.
I'm sorry this is being kind of chaotic, from now on I'll make clearer rules to simplify things.

Ohh, I get it now! I thought they'd only have the option of excluding the character they were stamped as, but you're going to let them decide on all the characters? :O That sound perfect~! :D

I don't know, I wouldn't want to be my own mother, sounds too CLAMP for me. But I understand that some people might not care, that's why I'm letting each you choose.
