Rockin' and Rollin'
Wheeeee! Today there was another earthquake, a 6.0 about 40 miles away from my location, to the south. It went on for several seconds too, but while it rocked, it didn't jolt or anything extreme. I stood in the doorway just in case, but the computer didn't even lose power or anything. I'm glad Cali builds for earthquakes.
Also I went to see Angel. I gave her a baggie of beet pulp (she's eating through 4 flakes of grass hay a day and getting a gallon ziplock freezer bag full of beet pulp). Hopefully she's gaining some weight under her blanket. I haven't actually seen what she looks like in almost a week. It's been nasty stormy weather whenever I'm not in class. And sometimes when I'm in class, especially if there's a field trip planned.
The apartment is turning out okay. It's a mess still, but there's a big living room, a big kitchen that I need to get a big table from mom for, a bedroom, a computer room, and "the armory", aka storage of mostly armor and SCA gear but also random #&^%.
Classes started, and my semester is looking pretty good. I've got 3 "real" classes plus Archery and Stretch & Relaxation. I didn't get up to full time, but oh well. Maybe I'll actually have time to go train the horse (when the weather clears a bit)!
